Today I took the girls to The American West Heritage Center for the Baby Animal Days. It was pretty nice weather, just a little overcast. I tried to get there early in the day so that I could be home for nap time. It was so packed, I haven't seen that many strollers since Disneyland. Punkin had so much fun seeing all the different farm animals. I think the biggest hit for both of the girls was the little tiny goats. Peanut flipped when I took her away from them. Punkin had a lot of fun sitting and holding some baby ducklings. Right as we left they had two rather huge Oxen by the main entrance. I was so surprised to see Punkin not at all intimidated by their size. She really didn't seem to be afraid of anything. Peanut would've like to cruise the whole place on her own just to get a little closer to the action, but with the combination of mud and poo, that was not going to happen. My only regret was taking them by myself, it was really hard to keep track of Punkin when she'd go into a pen or something that strollers couldn't be. I may consider doing it again, but only if I have reinforcements.
