Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Twelfth Day

The Twelfth Day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for my Family. I know I already said that I'm thankful for them, but that's just how thankful I am. I'm very excited to spend this day with them and look forward to the Holidays every year just so I can see everyone. This year will be different. It will be slightly uncomfortable as this is the first get together since D and I reconciled. I'm hopeful that my family will see the change in him that I have. I'm also thankful for D's efforts to change something that has plagued his family for generations. I'm thankful for my families support through this rough patch. I'm just so thankful for everything.

I would also like to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. Drive safe, have fun, and be Thankful.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Ninth Day

The Ninth Day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for our freedoms. I'm grateful for the military that serve our country who defends our rights. I'm always filled with pride when I see flags flying, a military person in passing, and when I hear the National Anthem sung. I'm so thankful that I'm an American.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Tenth Day

The tenth day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for days that aren't so busy. I don't get many of those where I don't have about a million obligations. I get the next week off so I intend to slow it down a little bit for much needed me time. I'm grateful for a job that pays me for being on vacation so that I can enjoy life instead of work it away.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Ninth Day

The ninth day:

I'm thankful for my talents. Though they are few, I'm glad I have something that gives me that creative outlet. Nothing is more satisfying that decorating my home with things that I've done myself, giving gifts that I've made, and passing that joy down to my own daughters.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Eighth Day

The eighth day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for where I live. I don't know how I would make it through a year without a season change. I may gripe when the temperature hits 100 degrees, and my car is barely getting me through the snow. I love the different seasons that living in Utah has to offer.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Seventh Day

The Seventh day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for my car. It's getting old, it doesn't run quite like it used to but it gets me from point A to point B successfully.

Except for January 2008.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Sixth Day

The sixth day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for my friends. My friends are far and few next to my family, but I always value any time spent with them, any advice given by them, and the great conversations I have with them.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Fifth Day

The fifth day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for the holidays that are coming up before us. What it means to me is time spent with my family, eating, shopping, eating, cozy warm fires, and, oh yeah, eating.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Fourth Day

On the fourth day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for well behaved kids. This week, Punkin has been so wonderful in the mornings. She told me the other night that she was trying to be a cowgirl. I knew immediately what that meant because one of her favorite songs is "Cowgirls Don't Cry" by Brooks & Dunn. Today she said she had a great day because she's a Cowgirl. It really gives new meaning to Cowgirl Up.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Third Day

On the third day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for my job. Yesterday we had our usual monthly staff meeting. Throughout the meeting I was growing increasingly more grateful for my job. I work for a wonderful company with wonderful bosses who really do care about the people they employ. They have strong family values and work ethics.

Twelve Days of Thanksgiving: The Second Day

On the second day of Thanksgiving:

I'm thankful for my family. I don't remember life before my children. I couldn't imagine life without them honestly. I'm very grateful for my parents, my brother, in-laws, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins. I've maintained a very close relationship with all of them and feel very blessed to have them in my life.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Cool free graphics at Crabbyattitude.com

We want to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm sure we are all thankful for what we have all of the time, we just fail to say it. So this Thanksgiving I'm just going to say that I'm thankful that we live in a country where we get a day off of work to joing together and enjoy our friends and family. And I'm also thankful for our military that is fighting for that right and the rights of others. God Bless.
