It happened, we had warning, and did I get the garden cleaned up? No, now I will have a nice yucky mess to dig into when time allows. I should have done it weeks ago, but the flowers still looked beautiful and I was hanging onto that last little bit of summer. My fountain is still running for heavens sake! Where the heck did fall go?!? That's when I clean up the yard. It's that little break between summer and winter meant for cleaning up yards, going for drives to look at leaves, wearing sweaters and light jackets. Mother Nature, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed!?! Friday would've been a great day to get out and do the yard work while Dallas was at work, but alas, the house needed cleaning, the laundry needed doing, and it was freezing outside so what to do with Peanut, who knows. Saturday's are out as I have a two hour drive to and from Taylorsville for the Dental Assisting School and the few hours I'm there working. Then I come home and cook dinner, then it's dark. Where has time gone? Yes, I'm sure my husband would help more if he wasn't still passing kidney stones. So, I've been wondering why I'm so tired and why my arm feels like I've been punched in it. And oh, the horrible headaches. I am quite literally caring the world on my shoulders. So why, oh why, Mother Nature, WHY!!! Why did you add more to the load on this beautiful snowy day?
