Nothing Much

I look at my blog nearly everyday to see if any of my friends or favorites have posted anything to read. I realized today that I haven't posted anything for nearly a week. So I'm sitting here going through my head trying to think of some fantastic story to share. I'm drawing a blank. Is my life really that boring that I have nothing to share? In a way I guess that's a good thing.
I go to work, I come home. I work on some necklaces here and there. Sad thing is I have sold nothing on Etsy, but my mom sells them like hotcakes at work.
I have a sad new obsession with Perry Mason. I know, "Kamee, that show is like 50 years old!". I know, but it's very comical yet interesting too. I took our Dish Network down to the cheapest plan until I could find some digital converter boxes that weren't pieces of you know what. There isn't much on when you have hardly any channels. I think I might just leave it though.
Punkin did come down with something yesterday that I was fearing was the swine flu. But she came into my room this morning fresh as rain and feeling great. I just hope it doesn't come back.
Peanut has turned into a little fireball. She has more energy and guts than Punkin did at this age. She's just enough boy for me. This kid falls off the couch, lands on her head, gives you a funny look, and then does it again, and again, and......again. She's crazy.
Today I'm going to work at the school. Only three weeks left and then no more school till January. I love it, it's a lot of fun to teach, but I could really do without the drive.
D and I are kinda stuck. Between kids, work, and his AA meetings we haven't really made any huge progress. I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it. He seems happy just the way we are, I'm not.
I guess I should just be grateful that nothing more is going on, because I honestly don't have time for it. At least my house is somewhat in order and cleaned up, thanks to the three hour nap the girls took yesterday. Maybe tomorrow we can go do something and I can have something more interesting to share.

Not much.

I say that because that is what is going on in the Konecny household. I did go out Friday to run the normal errands. I did two loads of laundry and was out the door just before 10:00 am, we went to Payless to get Punkin some shoes. She went from an 8 1/2 to a 10 since the fall. I've decided that it's so hard to keep track of how fast they grow, but I think her feet our outgrowing the rest of her. She's mostly just growing taller. Then we went to Hallmark to see if I could use a couple coupons that I had, and I did, but it's a secret. I love to wander around that store, but it would've been more fun by myself. After Hallmark, we went to Wienerschnitzel for lunch where we took some cheesy pictures.
The other night Dallas was playing with Peanut and making a scrunched up face at her and she started to mimic it back. Now when we say smile, this is what we get. It's rather hilarious.
Then we hopped over to Walmart to see if they had what I was looking for in the scrapbook department, and they didn't. We did have a rather loud visit to the restroom. Punkin had to use the potty of course, we went to the large family one since, we are a family and all. Well the toilet is a bit taller than others and Punkin started to freak out like usual. So I did what I really didn't want to do and set Peanut on the floor and prayed that she would stay standing and not decided to explore the disgusting floor. Just then Punkin stepped away from the toilet and it flushed. Why! Why do they have to have such violent toilets. Both of the girls started crying, Punkin nearly wet herself, I'm getting louder trying to calm them down, and we are in a bathroom that has quite an echo. After all was said and done, she finally used the restroom and we walked out to a small audience surely wanting to see what all the noise was about.

Since Walmart didn't have what I was looking for we left to go get groceries. Yes, I left Walmart and didn't spend a penny. So then we were off to Smiths to get our groceries, which I decided was going to be our fastest grocery trip ever. I still had two more loads of laundry, dishes, naps, litter box, vacuuming, and dinner to do before I went to our monthly girls night. I accomplished all that I needed to do in record time, yay for me. I know that's what your thinking.

Saturday, I was teaching our first day of class. I know your thinking big deal, but I never teach the first day, and rarely teach the morning lecture. I go down for the afternoon clinical part, which is much more my thing. The scariest part was this, we have 18 students. I had 16 of them staring at me for a good three hours listening to me explain things they had never heard of before. I not only made their heads spin, but mine was spinning also in wonder of how we were going to accommodate all of these girls in our afternoon clinic. We thankfully have hired a third instructor to help in the afternoon. It will still be interesting.

In addition to all of this, Dallas is still having his stomach issues, I would go into detail of what is going on, but since he's a bit more private than I am, I'll keep it to myself. He's doing better, but still is not %100.

Boring!

O.k., so I have the most boring life ever. I read everyone elses blogs and there is so much going on with everyone. I'll tell you what I did this week, worked, worked, did the dishes, change a "crap" load of diapers, worked some more, worked, got a migraine (must have been the dishes that put me over). Yay for me, I have no life. Guess what I get to do this weekend? Laundry, dishes, diapers, oh yah, work again, go to the chiropractor about these dang migraines, more laundry etc. I do have one moment of escape. Our monthly Girls night!!! My one moment of sanity where I can spend an evening with other overworked moms. Yay! K, I feel better. Thanks!
